Most soloists play Selmer bass clarinets - whether in classical music or jazz. The Selmer Privilege bass clarinet has many positive qualities, such as its interesting, characterful and focused sound. Due to the B-mechanics the whole instrument becomes perfect in intonation and rivals the Tosca! Thanks to our special tuning according to Blashaus, the Selmer bass clarinet is also played with pleasure in the orchestra.
e.g. the following musicians play the low C Selmer bass clarinet:
Ernesto Molinari, Stephan Vermeersch, Bernhard Röthlisberger, Nils Kohler, Matthias Müller
